Studio Groupings 2014

Parting Ways and New Beginnings

Earlier in the year, as I was preparing for a move and winding down my studio in the attic of an 1896 home that was once home to Ernest Heminway's uncle George, I took time to assemble and consider groupings of both older and new encaustic paintings.  I'm intrigued by the conversation that occurs within a work and between individual pieces as they interact in space.
