Etude no. 27, encaustic on panel, 12.5 x 26 in., 2012
This winter, I've been working on a large series of smaller panels--diptychs and triptychs that I call
Etudes. The smaller scale has allowed me to experiment and play with color, visual structure, and with process. These
Etudes, or studies,
have opened new territory, and I'm not working on larger groups of panels and some very new experiments. More to come as new work is complete and photographed.
